If this 4 burner built in BBQ won't ignite, your propane tank may have a leak. Many propane tanks have safety features built into the gas regulator and piping that can be triggered by a leak in the tank. The most direct way to find a leak is to use a soap and water solution on the outside of the tank. The soap will foam at the leak site. If you find a leak, take it back to the place of purchase and ask for a replacement.
Solution: Check the pressure regulator
The regulator on a 4 burner gas barbecue is the part that screws onto the propane tank to regulate the flow of gas. It has a safety mechanism called bypass. This bypass automatically cuts off the gas supply when there is no back pressure in the hose. This may happen if there is a leak. The valve may also "trip" if the gas tank is opened and one of the burners is also turned to the open position. To attempt a reset, turn off all burners and gas tanks. Turn on the gas tank, wait a few moments, then turn on one of the burners and try to light it.
